Veterinarian - Large Animal

Our expanding large animal division, consisting predominantly of dairy cattle but also including beef and small ruminants, is looking for a compassionate, driven person with excellent communication skills to join our team. We are passionate about preventative health and have a strong desire to build solid relationships with our clients in our community. We are fully equipped to handle all aspects of cattle practice with 14 large animal veterinarians and four large animal veterinary technicians. We offer a full complement of services, including routine herd health, individual animal medical/surgical cases, embryo transfer, breeding soundness, milk quality, client education, and more!

Veterinarian - Small Animal

Heartland Animal Hospital in Listowel, ON is looking for a veterinarian to join our dynamic health care team. We are a multi-location clinic who prides ourself on compassionate client and animal care. Our practice is patient focused with SA and Eq digital radiology and ultrasound units, in house laboratories, and a digital dental suite. More importantly, our technical and support staff are top notch. We have a 3 to 1 technician to vet ratio with additional support staff. Work-life balance and mentorship are keys to our success. Benefit package includes 15 days of vacation, five paid professional development days, additional personal and flex days, HCSA, VIN membership, paid CVO dues, uniform allowance, generous personal pet program, AND we are a really cool group of people! Veterinarian - Equine

Heartland Veterinary Services, a privately-owned multi-species practice in Listowel, ON, seeks a motivated veterinarian to join our growing equine team. Our large practice area encompasses multiple thriving communities, including Listowel, Mount Forest, and Drayton, all within commuting distance to larger centres and the Ontario Veterinary College. Heartland services a wide range of equine clients and patients, including English and Western performance, breeding, and pleasure horses. Our ambulatory practice is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, power dental equipment, and endoscopy. Registered Veterinary Technician - Small Animal

Heartland Animal Hospitals of Listowel, Mount Forest, and Drayton are looking for a motivated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic health care team. We are a busy multi-location practice seeking a full-time or part-time Small Animal Registered Veterinary Technician that is passionate about animals and excels at providing excellent patient care and client communication skills. Duties will include but not limited to surgical patient care, client communication, laboratory testing, surgical monitoring, and after-hours on-call. Our practice provides in-house lab equipment, digital radiography, and dental suite, and digital records. Computer skills and knowledge of ezyVet would be an asset. Experience is preferred but not essential. Client Care Representative/Animal Care Assistant

We seek a motivated Client Care Representative/Animal Care Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team of dedicated, hard-working individuals. With hospitals in Listowel, Mount Forest, and Drayton, we are happy to be recruiting for all locations. We are seeking an individual for either part-time or full-time hours. We are a busy mixed-animal practice passionate about enhancing the lives of animals and their people. The Client Care Representative/Animal Care Assistant position is utilized in many aspects of the hospital. Greeting clients and completing duties such as answering phones and scheduling appointments, triaging patients, checking clients in and out of the hospital, assisting the veterinarian and technician with appointments and surgical procedures, hospital cleaning, and more.
