It is of the utmost importance for us to protect our staff, our clients and our community and we are following the recommendations and protocols laid out by the provincial and federal governments as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.

We continue to ask that you self-assess and not come to the clinic and notify us before we come to your farm if you have travelled in the last 14 days or are experiencing any symptoms of illness OR have been exposed to anyone who has travelled/is experiencing symptoms of illness.

SMALL ANIMAL: We are operating at full service. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work at seeing our clients and patients that were not able to come in during the early stages of COVID-19. Appointment times for non-urgent visits are currently experiencing longer wait times.
All 3 clinic locations are open.

LARGE ANIMAL: We are operating at full service.

EVERYONE: PLEASE CALL US if you think your animal may need to be seen or if you are requiring any medications or pet food. There have been delays in us getting some of our usual inventory. We ask that you please contact the clinic by phone before coming in to the office to confirm if we have what you need in stock. We will do our best to ensure you are taken care of and have your items ready for you when you come in to pick them up.

Your patience during these unprecedented circumstances is greatly appreciated. We know this may lead to some frustration and wait times both on the phone and when visiting the clinic, but please appreciate that everyone is trying to do their best to continue to provide service to you and your animals, while protecting themselves and their loved ones at the same time. This is a fluid situation which means we will constantly be working to re-evaluate and provide updates as the situation evolves. We know if we all work together with patience and respect that we can get through this as a community.
Our staff has been dedicated to continuing to provide service and care to our clients and their pets/animals. In an effort to show our appreciation and to give our staff a much-deserved break and opportunity to recharge we will be closing our offices on the Saturday of the next 3 public holiday weekends.

The Saturday's that will be affected will be:
Civic Holiday (Saturday August 1)
Labour Day (Saturday September 5)
Thanksgiving (Saturday October 10)

We will continue to provide 24-hour emergency services for our clients.
In the event of an emergency please contact us at 1-800-565-2047.

On behalf of the partners and staff at Heartland Animal Hospital & Veterinary Services, we would like to thank you for your business and continued support.
